If you follow our Field Notes page, you should be aware of the strange hours and activities required for fisheries research, including working nights in all kinds of environments and weather conditions. In this case, it doesn’t look like the night shift is bothering Spencer too much, as he is seen here smiling holding a large female Chinook salmon prior to measuring and releasing.
