Rapid river kayaking

Our work integrates research, monitoring, and conservation, with a focus on fish populations and their habitats.

  • From tracking migrations to assessing abundance, from monitoring survival to evaluating life history characteristics, we study fish populations throughout their life cycles.
  • Quality habitat is the foundation of any healthy ecosystem. We carefully observe how fish use their habitats, and also perform wetland delineations, analyze sediment and flow characteristics, and design and construct habitat restoration.
  • We are well-versed in water resource issues, as well as environmental permitting and compliance, and have worked extensively with threatened and endangered species.

Our work takes us from the waterways of the United States to the Mekong River of Southeast Asia, where we work to conserve the region’s incredible biodiversity. Explore our project gallery to learn more.
