We are thinking it might be time to upgrade to a larger facility. On this particular day, there are three different activities taking place within our wet-lab. The technicians in the back are programming and verifying acoustic tags, at center a fish is being encouraged to pass through a VAKI Riverwatcher, and in the foreground one technician is training another in downloading of temperature data-loggers. When we moved into this building in 2008, the 8,000 square feet were more than enough room to house our two boats, a pair of trucks, and a dozen employees. But three and a half years later, we have tripled our staff and added more boats, trucks, and various fabrication and sampling gadgets. If you ask anyone around here, we are jam-packed…
