Legislators from Clark County are urging fellow lawmakers to restore state funding for the Lower Columbia Estuary Partnership, a Portland-based nonprofit dedicated to restoring and protecting the Lower Columbia River ecosystem.
At stake is $264,000 per biennium from the Department of Ecology under the Model Toxics Control Act.
