Every once in a while we get to fit in a scenic stroll for science. After we mark juvenile salmon with brightly colored dye for an efficiency test of one of our rotary screw traps, we have to transport them upstream of the trap to release them. Often this means going for a walk with a special case full of fish in hand. One of our staffed captured a moment during such a transport walk, and the shot won our photo of the month contest for its dramatic framing!
