Okay, it may be too early for a name change. We catch our share of frogs in aquatic surveys and wetlands monitoring, but this one’s particular for its promotional value. The American Bullfrog Rana catesbeiana has been implicated in the displacement of native red legged frogs from in the Delta, and is reported to feed on mammals, birds, amphibians, fish, and reptiles.
