Iodinews —
Lodi Lake is looking more like a marsh than a lake lately after its annual draining.
Each year, Woodbridge Irrigation District drains the lake for dam maintenance. It also gives time for the Lodi Parks and Recreation Department to check for and make any repairs.
The irrigation district started slowly lowering the Woodbridge Dam’s gates on Jan. 30 to lower the level of the Mokelumne River.
