The Alaska commercial salmon fishery recorded a total harvest of approximately 194.8 million salmon this year, marking an 88 percent increase from the 2024 total harvest of 103.5 million fish, according to preliminary data from the Alaska Department of Fish and Game (ADF&G).
The 2025 commercial salmon fishery harvest for all Alaska salmon species was valued at an estimated $541 million (€472 million), a nearly 78 percent increase from the $304 million (€265 million) recorded in the 2024 season.
