On Friday afternoon, the federal government responded to calls to intervene in PG&E’s process to remove the Scott and Cape Horn dams on the Eel River, which could delay the removal.
The USDA filed a notice to intervene in the dam removal process with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, tasked with regulating hydropower.
