In today’s Film Friday, we explain PIT tag antennas and how they work. PIT tag antennas come in different sizes and can be customized for specific waterways to better monitor and detect tagged fish. On Coyote Creek, a river that flows through the Santa Clara Valley in California, we customized a rectangular-shaped antenna to monitor O. mykiss or steelhead moving in and out of the system.
