The Society for Conservation Biology’s annual conference was in Beijing, China, this year. FISHBIO was there to keep up on global conservation research and collaborate with scientists from around the world on environmental issues. With over 1,000 scientists from various environmental disciplines in attendance, the conference is the largest gathering of environmental professionals in the world.
Although the six day event is packed with professional activities, we still found a little time to enjoy some of the local sights in and around Beijing. These are some of our favorite photos from Tian’an Men Square, Forbidden City, Great Wall, Olympic Village, and downtown Beijing. We are already looking forward to CONBIO 2010 in Canada!
