FISHBIO has used the VAKI Riverwatcher since 2003 to count migrating salmon. Now we are using this experience to provide sales and service for the Riverwatcher. In this video we demonstrate the installation of a VAKI Riverwatcher in a resistance board weir. This particular Riverwatcher system has been in use since 2003. This weir was initially designed and built prior to choosing a Riverwatcher and the livebox trap was retrofitted to house the scanner, camera and lights. VAKI now provides an optional camera tunnel that contains the scanner, camera and lights within a single housing.
