Cambodian authorities, together with WWF and funded by Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie (OIF), have launched the Blue-Green Riverine Tourism Project in Kratie province with the aim of safeguarding the Mekong Flooded Forest and boosting the endangered Mekong Irrawaddy dolphin population, while elevating the livelihoods of local communities.

The launch event on January 29 gathered provincial line departments, local authorities, ecotourism communities, tour operators, private sector representatives and partner organisations to ensure the rollout of the initiative is effective.
