Ready, set, roll! We changed things up a little at this year’s Stanislaus River Salmon Festival. Instead of bringing out one of our boats to display, we decided to shift the focus to our salmon monitoring equipment. Visitors to the Knights Ferry event were able to inspect one of our rotary screw traps up close and learn about how we keep tabs on young salmon as they undertake their migration toward the ocean. We hope the opportunity was both educational and enjoyable!
