Weir watching high flow
Flows have been up on both the Stanislaus and Tuolumne Rivers, and that’s meant some around-the-clock shifts for our field crews to “babysit” our fish counting weirs. It’s a full time job to keep the weirs free of debris during these conditions and ensure that they effectively continue to count salmon during the ongoing fall-run migration.
