Raw water sample
At FISHBIO, we don’t just spend a lot of our time in and around river water, we also occasionally bottle it up. This photo was taken during one of our regular sampling outings to collect river water for analysis. Water straight from the river is also called “raw water,” meaning it has not been treated to make it safe for human consumption. Scientists will be testing the water to determine if the location is suitable for a drinking water facility. This shot won our recent staff Photo of the Month award for its new angle on one of our regular activities!
